Lazy Sunday: Chillin' in Da Exersaucer and Jumperoo and Trip to Muir Woods

One of our favorite things to do on the weekends is get together with our friends, Dave and Amy, and their boy Nathaniel who is 1 month (exactly!) younger than Cole. Dave and Mike went to UCLA together and we all moved to SF Bay Area.
At this point, Cole and Nathaniel seem interested in each other for about one minute, then grow bored with one another (kinda like marriage- hee hee!). We hope they'll interact more once they hit 1 year old.
Cole loves his jumperoo (for the most part), but once he gets bored of it, he starts fussing and can't seem to stop bouncing, which he likes to do, so there's this strange/annoying mix of bouncing, fussing, laughing and the God-awful music that is triggered with each jump! Did I mention there's no volume control on it? Ah, the joy of baby toys!
Mike and I also took the baby to Muir Woods in Marin. It was so cold (41 degrees or so) and the baby could only take the elements for about 30 minutes. He was a sport though. We tried to get him to look up at the big redwood trees but he was having none of that. I guess we'll have to wait a couple years for him to be awed by them. At least Cole looked cute in his mittens and old-school hat!

Gaaa Goooon

Strange title, I know. But this is one of the songs we sing in Cole's new swim class. So far he's really been enjoying it. He even tolerates the freezing cold weather entering and exiting the pool! He's already gone underwater too, so needless to say we are quite proud of our little fishie. Our goal is for the baby to be unafraid of water so we're glad we're starting now! Other than this, not much in the way of other news. We survived baby's first cold in December and now it looks like there's some teething going on. We've finally settled into a nice little routine...
